Tomato Paste, Saving

What do you do when the recipe calls for 3 Tablespoons of tomato paste and you only have an 8 ounce can?  Instead of throwing it out you can spoon the surplus into ice cube trays and freeze.  Once the cubes have frozen, dump them in a freezer bag and then  you have small increments to use as needed in future recipes.  One cube equals approximately one ounce.
